Support
It helps to include your device, the version number (Settings, then About) and what you were doing when it went wrong. A screenshot is worth a lot. I read everything, though it may take a few days to answer.
Common questions
- What do I need to run it?
- An iPhone or iPad on iOS 18 or later, or a Mac on macOS 15 or later.
- Which features use Apple Intelligence?
- Two: planning a hole or course from a written description, and turning club news into short stories. Both need iOS 26 or macOS 26 or later on a device that supports Apple Intelligence, with it turned on in Settings. They run entirely on your device. Without Apple Intelligence, you can still describe holes and courses using built-in keywords and templates, and club news shows up as plain notes.
- What's free, and what does the unlock add?
- At launch, Linkswright will be free to download. You can play Linkswright National, use every practice mode, and design and play one course of your own. A one-time $2.99 USD purchase will unlock career mode and let you save as many courses as you want. Local prices may vary. There's no subscription. TestFlight testers have full access.
- I bought the unlock but it isn't showing up.
- Purchases belong to your Apple Account. Make sure you're signed in with the account you bought it on, then tap Restore Purchases in Settings. If it still doesn't appear, email me with your device and I'll sort it out.
- The game crashed. What should I do?
- The next time you open it, Linkswright offers to share the crash report. Send it to the address above with a line about what you were doing. You choose where it goes; nothing is sent automatically.
- How do I share a course with a friend?
- Open the menu for a saved course, choose Share and send the .golfcourse file however you like. Your friend can open it from Messages or Mail, or use Import in the course library. Importing another course counts toward the free course limit.
- How do I back up my courses and career?
- Your saves are part of your normal device backup. You can also share any course as a .golfcourse file and keep it wherever you want.
- Does it need an internet connection?
- Playing, designing and running your club work offline. An internet connection is needed to buy or restore the unlock, download updates, and use online services you choose for sharing or backups.
